Mohican Fly Fishers Host Buckeye Bamboo Bash

  Original Published: 5/5/2013   Dozens of recreational anglers  took to the banks of the Clear Fork Branch of the Mohican River this past weekend in Bellville.    Dave Meadows is a member of the Mohican Fly Fishers and says the group was hosting the 2013 Buckeye Bamboo Bash where people can show, buy, sell and trade bamboo fly rods and learn about fly-fishing.   Meadows says he believes fly-fishing is all about fooling the fish.   The Mohican Fly Fishers meet at 6:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month at the American Legion Post in Bellville and operate as a non-profit organization to promote and foster the sport of fly-fishing.
