Original Published: 5/7/2013  It's a happy time in the Mansfield City School District as voters came out in strong support of its renewal levy.  Voters said yes in a big way to the Mansfield Schools levy.   The 9-point-8-mill, 5-year measure passed by a better than 1,500 vote margin and keeps the schools financially solvent, according to Mansfield Schools Supt. Dan Freund.   Freund says had the levy not passed, the district would be in deep trouble, noting the state has been in and told them they would be monitoring this election closely because they were very concerned about the schools' financial future.   Everyone on hand at Mansfield Senior High School watching the results coming in blew a collective sigh of relief when it passed.
