  Original Published: 5/9/2013Catalyst Life Services, a collaboration of The Center for Individual and Family Services and The Rehabilitation Service of North Central Ohio, hosted a carnival Wednesday afternoon in observance of National Children's Mental Health Awareness Week and May Mental Health Month.Over 200 children attended the event which featured games, refreshments, face painting and prizes. Julie Cochran, child and adolesent services team leader, said the carnival is made possible through the generous support of the community. National Children's Mental Health Awareness Week educates the nation about children's mental health and promotes comprehensive efforts to end scrutiny, discrimination and reprecussions that deter children, youth and families in need of care from seeking help.
