Original Published: 5/15/2013Several Boy Scout troops went to Mansfield Cemetery Tuesday evening to do something special for the military veterans buried there. They put new stickers on the gravestones to mark them as the resting place of a veteran.  And a great many of the veteran graves needed new markings because the existing stickers were old, faded, and cracked. An estimated 1000 stickers were replaced. The Boy Scouts will return to the Mansfield Cemetery next weekend to put American flags on the veteran graves, with a bugler playing taps. The effort is in preparation for Memorial Day ceremonies at the cemetery.
