Jodi Arias Murder Trial Death Penalty Deliberations Continue

  Original Published: 5/15/2013  Jodi Arias' murder trial picks up again Wednesday.   The jury will begin the death penalty deliberations, called the aggravation phase of the trial.    During this phase, prosecutors will have a chance to present additional evidence.   Arias was convicted last week of first-degree murder in the death of her former boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in 2008.   The defense claimed she acted in self-defense.    If Arias is given a death sentence, she would be the fourth woman on death row in Arizona.
