The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging teamed up with the Renaissance Theater Mansfield today to sponsor the annual Senior Spring Spectacular.

Area Agency on Aging Communications Manager Bev Rosich says the event is to help celebrate May being Older Americans Month.

She says the Senior Spring Spectacular offers light refreshments, lots of door prizes and entertainment.

Rosich says since 1963, May has been designated as Older Americans Month and it's a time to celebrate the contributions and history that older folks have given to their communities and families, and continue to do.
