A Mansfield man was killed after being involved in a two-vehicle head-on collision at 2 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 30 near Trout Drive in Richland County.

The Mansfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says Victor Mohr, 31, was ejected from his car in the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The patrol says Mohr was driving his car eastbound when it traveled off the north edge of the roadway, crossing the median and striking head-on, a sport utility vehicle driven westbound by Vanessa Schaefer, 33, of Mansfield.

Schaefer was taken to Ashland Samaritan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

  The accident remains under investigation.
