After stopping rival Crestline 2-0 in the Division IV district final on Saturday at Shelby, The 16-9 Col.Crawford softball team travels to Kent State on Thursday for a 5pm matchup with 20-6 Jackson-Milton in the D-4 regional semifinal at Kent State. On the Blue Jays, coach Chuck Huggins says they are similar to two teams they have played during the season in conference and tournament, Crestline and Lucas.

Saturday's win gave the Eagles their third district championship in the lastfour years, but CC has not been to a regional final since 2008, a string they will try to break on Thursday. Should they do it, they'll play either Vienna Mathews or Cuyhoga Heights back at Kent State Saturday in the D-4 regional final at noon.
