A dance-a-thon will be held this Saturday at Iron Grill by K-D Allegro Pizzeria at 1319 Ashland Road in Mansfield.

Registration is from 11 a.m. until noon with dancing beginning around 12:30 p.m.

The cost to participate is $10.

The event will help support Miss Richland County Outstanding Teen, Sydney Shasky, as she competes for the Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen title on June 19.

Sydney will be joined at the dance-a-thon by current Miss Ohio Outstanding Teen, Sarah Elizabeth Eash.

Sydney's platform is "No Tolerance For Bullying."

The teen is trying to bring awareness of bullying, which can threaten students’ physical and emotional safety at school and can negatively impact their ability to learn.
