 Thanks to a grant from the Richland County Foundation, the City of Mansfield will host a free fishing program, “Hooked on Fishing – Not on Drugs” for all school age children who wish to attend this summer. The program will be held twice a week on Wednesdays at North Lake Park from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and on Thursdays at Liberty Park from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. beginning June 19 and ending on August 8. A certified instructor will teach the children the basics of fishing.  Bait and fishing poles will be provided.  The Mansfield Police Department will educate the children on drug awareness and prevention.
