An Ashland County man died from injuries he received in a motorcycle accident just before 8 p.m. Saturday  on Ohio 3 in Washington Township in Holmes County.

Jeremy Burkepile, 35,  of Perrysville, was riding his motorcycle southwest on Ohio 3 when he lost control on a curve south of Holmes County Road 22.

The motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway, going into a ditch and overturning, ejecting Burkepile, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Wooster post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says Burkepile was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which remains under investigation.
