 A beloved tradition in eastern Ashland County is always found in mid-June as the 14th Annual Polk Lions Club Community Strawberry Festival is held.   Polk Lions Club 3rd Vice President Katie Wright says local sponsors and area Lions clubs makes the festival possible.   The usual clowns, children's games, 4-H petting zoo and many new activities were offered this year.   Plenty of fair-type foods were offered at the festival, along with barbecued chicken quarters, and the always popular strawberry pies, shortcake, ice cream and strawberry lemonade.
