Arlin Field has seen some improvements over the last several years, with the latest coming on Thursday afternoon.

The home of the Mansfield Senior football team put up a new scoreboard this week, complete with ultra bright L.E.D. lights. The new addition is the third update to the stadium over the last three years.

Just two years ago, Arlin Field got a new playing surface at the cost of around three quarters of a million dollars. The bleachers then received a power wash and fresh paint job before last season. The new scoreboard will feature an array of advertisements, as a number of sponsors combined to pay the entire cost of the new project.

The Tygers made the playoffs for the first time in a decade last season, going 8-3 and sharing the Ohio Cardinal Conference title.
