10 Local Businesses Sell To Underage Buyers

  Original Published: 6/25/2013A sweep through Richland County finds that most businesses that sell alcohol and tobacco are complying with the law. Monday, the METRICH Drug Task Force, with assistance from other local agencies, went into 76 businesses.  Ten of those businesses sold alcohol or tobacco to underage persons. The clerks who violated the law were issued summonses... and liquor violations are pending on the business owners as well.
