  Jessica Simpson gives birth to a son and Jennifer Lopez is apologizing for a performance.

  Cristina Mutchler has the details in today's Hollywood Minute.

  Jessica Simpson have birth to her second child Sunday afternoon.

  And you can add her son to the list of ODD celebrity baby names, Ace Knute, who was born by scheduled C-section in a Los Angeles hospital.

  She and fiance Eric Johnson already have a daughter, Maxwell, born in May of last year.

  Jennifer Lopez is being criticized for performing at the lavish birthday party of a Central Asian dictator.

  The pop star sany Happy Birthday to the president of Turkmenistan at a concert in that country as a last minute request.

  The non-profit group Human Rights Watch labled Turkmenistan as one of the world's most repressive last year.

  J-Lo's rep defended the performance saying Jennifer would not have attended is she knew about the human right's abuses.

  At the box office, the animated feature "Monster's University" took the top spot for the second straight weekend, pulling in more than $46-million.

  The cop comedy "The Heat," starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, came in at No. 2, followed by Brad Pitt's zombie blockbuster "World War Z."

  And Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx couldn't save "White House Down," as the big budget action flick took the No. 4 spot, grossing just $25-million in its opening weekend.
