Lexington parks close because of flooding

The village of Lexington is dealing with its own problems caused by floodwaters.  And it's forcing the closure of several village parks.

Community Park, Patriot Park, Lexington Skate Park and Bicentennial Park are all closed until further notice.

Village administrator Aaron Wiegand says while the water has receded, the danger from bacteria, debris and refuse remains unsafe for residents.

We'll let you know when the parks reopen.
