Five considered for Mansfield Senior High principal

Five applicants for principal of Mansfield Senior High School have been selected for interviews.

Supt. Brian Garverick said interviews are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Monday. The new principal will succeed Garverick, who served four years as Senior High principal before being named superintendent last month.

   The applicants are:

   -- Tryvan Leech Sr., a Senior High graduate, freshman principal at Princeton High School, Sharonville, Ohio.

   -- Robert Singleton, principal, Mansfield Integrated Learning Center – Hedges Campus.

   -- Sean Adams, special education teacher, Mansfield Middle School, and former principal of Southern Local Junior/Senior High School, Columbiana County.

   -- Terese Terrell, grants administrator for the Mansfield Integrated Learning Center - Hedges Campus, former principal of the MCS alternative school.

   -- Duane Callender, former teacher at John Simpson Middle School, assistant principal at Buckeye Career Center, New Philadelphia, Ohio.
