2013 Crawford County Fair Is Underway

  Original Published: 7/15/2013The 2013 Crawford County Fair kicked off Sunday with wonderful weather. The 156th annual fair opened with a variety of food vendors and activities as part of Junior Fair Day. Fair board president Don Frombaugh said there was a minor change for the rides this year. "We weren't able to schedule rides for the first day of the fair but to compensate we decided to offer limited freerides from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday only," Frombaugh said. Free entertainment will be provided all week long.  The entertainment line up includes: Free daily, 3 shows Wide World of Animals July 15 7 p.m. Figue 8 Racing School Bus and 4x2 Trucks July 16 8 p.m. Ohio Idol-Top 10 Tour free concert in Grandstands July 17 5 p.m. Harness Racing free in Grandstands July 18 7:30 p.m. Fair Jam Concert Unspoken opening for Sidewalk Prophets Grandstand and Artist Circle July 19 7 p.m. OSTPA Pull tractors and Trucks Grandstands and Pit July 20 5 p.m. Stock Truck Pull Grandstands and Pit Be sure to tune everyday this week for the fair show at 9 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on WMFD TV.
