Josh Hayes hit the finish line first, but it was second place rider and teammate Josh Herrin who wound up winning the Sunday Wiseco Superbike 100 at Mid-Ohio.

Midway through the race, a penalty was given to Hayes for moving just a split second before the start of the Sunday race.  As it was the penalty gave Herrin his second win of the season, something he said he didn't know about until several minutes after the race.  As for finishing second, Hayes said he just kept going as hard as he could.

Hayes did win Saturday's Wiseco race giving him ten wins at Mid-Ohio which ties him with Mat Mladin.  Six of Hayes victories came in Superbike.
