The Cleveland Indians head into the All-Star break just a game and half out of first place in the American League Central Division at 51-44 after a 6-4 win over division foe Kansas City which capped off a three game sweep over their division foe.  Cleveland has the most wins it's had at this point since 2007, the last time they made the playoffs as division champs.

The Indians will send two to the All-Star Game in pitcher Justin Masterson (10-7) and second baseman Jason Kipnis.  The Indians will be back in play on Friday with three in Minnesota before heading to Seattle for three.  Cleveland will be back home for a seven game home stand on July 26th against Texas for three, then four against the White Sox.  The Indians still have seven games remaining against Detroit with four coming at home on August 5th through the 8th, then three on the road beginning August 30th.  The last time the two teams met, the defending American League champions took three of four.
