PGA Jr. Series At Westbrook

For the seventh straight year, some of the best junior golfers in the country have converged on Mansfield's Westbrook Country Club for the 8th stop on the PGA Junior Series.  Golfers in the age range of 13 to 18 years old are competing over a three day period with a shot at an exemption to the 38th Junior PGA Championships in Sterling, Virginia the week of July 30th to August 2nd.

Of the 130 golfers taking part, several are from this area.  Spencer Stierhoff, Theresa-Ann Jedra and Joey Zahn from Lexington.  Austin Boyd and Luke Watson from Bellville.  Alexis Jones from Shelby.  Joshua Brooks and Beau Bareyl from Ashland and Matt Barkett, Kaleb Smith and Nicole Adam from Mansfield.  The event wraps up at Westbrook on Wednesday, with the tournaments next stop at Purdue University next week.
