Original Published: 7/23/2013  A crash between a double-decker bus and a tractor trailer leaves at least 19 people dead in central Thailand.   The bus collided with an 18-wheeler early Tuesday morning, and the wreckage caught fire.   Officials believe the driver of the truck lost control, went over the median, and hit the bus head-on.   Police arrested that driver.   The flames appeared to have reduced the inter-provincial bus to just its metal shell.   A pickup truck behind the bus was also heavily damaged.   One person inside the truck was killed, as were 18 people on board the bus.
