Original Published: 7/28/2013  Inclement weather led to the cancellation of the Korean War Parade in Mansfield, but a ceremony was held to honor veterans of that war on Saturday at AMVETS Post 26.   The ceremony celebrated the 60th anniversay of the ending of the Korean War and hundreds of people attended the program.   Korean War veteran Doug Theaker of Ontario was the keynote speaker who noted that 23 men from Richland County gave their lives during the conflict and will never be forgotten.   Korean War Veterans Association Chapter 51 President Frank Russo says a medalion will be given to all Korean War veterans.   Russo says there are 1,169 Korean War veterans in Richland County and more than 90,000 in Ohio.
