Hole In One Earns Local Man A New Car

It has been said, it is better to be lucky than good, one local golfer was both.  Such was the case on Saturday morning for 65-year-old Mansfield golfer Randy Smith.  Golfing in the rain at Twin Lakes Golf Course in the Alive Golf Outing, Smith using a six iron knocked down a hole-in-one on the par three 170 yard 13th hole.

Smith just didn't gain bragging rights, he won himself a new set of wheels.  For shooting an ace on 13, Smith drove away in a 2013 Dodge Challenger.  Smith not only can drive the ball, he'll be driving a new car to his next golf outing soon, hopefully within the speed limit.
