A Stuff the Bus school supplies drive is underway today in the parking lot of Big Lots on Ashland Road in Madison Township. The Madison school bus driven by organizer Jodi Robertson is parked there as donors drop-off everything a student needs in the classroom. There are no income eligibility requirements for students to receive school supplies, and parents need only tell their child's building principal they need school supplies. Monetary donations are accepted, and will be used to buy more school supplies. Classes start next Wednesday in Madison Schools, so the supplies will be sorted and distributed early next week. The Stuff the Bus event goes on until eight o'clock tonight.
