You don't see it very often, the girls team scrimmages the boys team. But that happened at Ontario as the girls soccer team took on the boys Thursday evening. The Ontario girls finished as state runner-up in Division III a year ago and are moving up to Division II this season and with the schedule tougher a scrimmage against the boys is good prep. While coach Larry Atkinson looks to keep his girls squad at a high level of play, second year coach of the boys team Greg Fraley, wants to build a program. Fraley graduated from Ontario and says the program was a winner then and he hopes to bring it back up and with a good number of underclassmen, he thinks he has the tools to do it. The Ontario boys will open their season at home Saturday against rival Lexington at 5pm. The girls will also open at home Tuesday evening at 5pm against Akron St.Vincent-St.Mary.
