The Mansfield City Schools are preparing for the start of classes on Tuesday, August 27. Mansfield Middle School and Mansfield Senior High School will have registration from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Tuesday and from noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. Orientation for incoming fourth graders at Malabar Intermediate School will be at 5:30 p.m. this Tuesday where students and parents have the opportunity to meet staff and tour the building. Middle school orientation is from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday with freshmen orientation at Mansfield Senior High at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 26. Sherman Elementary School will hold an open house from 6 to 7:30 p.m. this Thursday for families of first, second and third graders. Sherman's open house for kindergarten and pre-kindergarten families will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 29.
