Parade wraps up annual Blueberry Festival

The 11th Annual Blueberry Festival wrapped up a successful run with a parade on Sunday. This year, there were more than 50 entries for the popular event. This year's festival featured 64 vendors, food, fireworks, the Miss Blueberry Pageant, a 5K and Color Blast Run. Mayor Eugene Parkison said the highlight of the festival was a huge rummage sale at the former Neer Building at 265 S. Mill Street.
