Bucyrus G.E. Plant Investing Millions, Creating Jobs

The General Electric light plant in Bucyrus made a major announcement Thursday to its 330 employees and the local media. It's investing $30-million at this plant and two others, creating 150 jobs at all three combined and 70 locally. This is being done to manufacture a new type of energy efficient light bulb. Applications for the new jobs will be accepted starting August 26th, and will take two years to be phased-in.
