Mansfield firefighters spent three hours Friday morning around the downtown square, for their annual Fill the Boot Drive for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. They stood beside, and even in, the streets asking passing motorists and pedestrians to put a few bucks or loose change into a fire boot. Mansfield firefighters hoped to raise one to two-thousand dollars to contribute to the nationwide fund-raising effort.
