Original Published: 9/2/2013Mansfield's annual Labor Day Parade stepped off Monday at the five-way light on Park Avenue West and winded its way down to Central Park. Close to 55 entries took part in this year's event, from color guards and fire trucks to labor-related floats to the Mansfield Senior High and Ontario Senior High marching bands and a number of walking units. Parade organizer Ron Davis says the holiday celebrates working families. The Third Annual Labor Day Festival follows the parade on the square in downtown Mansfield. The Labor Day Parade and Festival is sponsored each year by the Crawford-Richland AFL-CIO.
