The National Alliance on Mental Illness in Richland County presented more than 100 books Monday morning to Catalyst Life Services, the former Rehab Center. These books, on topics including trauma, depression, suicide, Attentiion Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, bullying, and bipolar disorder, will be used for a Mental Health Library for children and teens. Another 100 books will be kept at NAMI for a library. Catalyst Life Services counsels more than 1000 children a year, with mental illness and emotional trauma. The books were purchased with a $2500 grant from Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio.
