Rams Look To Bounce Back At Home

The Madison Rams will try to bounce back this week after falling 21-10 at Galion last Friday. Three fumbles were costly for the Rams as the Tigers turned two of them into points sending Madison to their first regular season loss since week four of 2012, a 31-28 overtime loss at West Holmes. For coach Sean Conway, it was more than just turnovers, it was missed blocks, tackles and coaching. He adds that the team will just get back to work doing what they do, because it's not broke we just have to a better job of it. The Madison defense will be put to the test with the Yellowjackets putting up 81 points in their first two games a 55-42 over Marion Harding in week one and 26 last week in a 35-26 loss to Sparta Highland. For their part last week, Madison outgained Galion 306-216 total yards and outrushed the Tigers 283 to 153, but fumbles hurt, especially late when the Rams lost a fumble inside the five yard line driving to score with just under seven minutes remaining. Coach Sean Conway will try to make Friday his fourth straight win over the Yellowjackets since 2010. Madison won last year on the road at Mt.Vernon 21-0.
