Ashland businesses coming together to help one of their own

Several businesses in Ashland are coming together to host a bake sale to help a local businessman who was assaulted.

Kent Comstock suffered serious head injuries in the assault that occurred July 11 outside of Bullshooters bar on East Main Street.

The bake sale will be held Saturday, Sept.14 at the following businesses: Kelley's Deli & Restaurant, 662 Claremont Ave.; Mitchell's Orchard & Farm Market, 1217 Township Road 1153; Fin Feather Fur Outfitters,652 U.S. 250 E.; Comstock's Vintage Toys,25 E. Main St.; and Kelley's Collectible Record Store, 126 E. Main St.

Checks and cash donations will also be accepted. The checks can be made out to the "Kent Comstock Donation Fund."
