The 1-1 Lexington Minutemen will look to make it two straight wins on Friday as they take on 2-0 Olentangy in the teams first home game of the season. After falling in overtime to rival Ontario in week one, Lex again came out strong against Shelby in week two building a 21-0 first half lead. Although the Minutemen would win 28-12, coach Dan Studer is concerned about his team's second half let up. He comments that this week with the Braves coming in, his troops will have to be strong for four quarters, not just two. Lex QB Trent Richwine accounted for three of the four Lexington touchdowns against Shelby running for two and passing for the other to Joey Vore from nine yards out. Vore also returned a 12 yard interception for six in the second half. Olentangy will have a familar face on the sidelines as they are coached by former Crestview head football coach Mark Solis. The Braves beat the Minutemen a season ago 35-21.
