The Madison Rams played host to the Mount Vernon Yellow Jackets on Friday night in a battle of two teams looking to rebound from Week 2 losses. The Yellow Jackets hit early and often as they jumped out to a 20-0 lead. Junior JD Orr accounted for two of the scores on the ground, and finished the game with one more through the air. Madison finally got on the board as junior Juwan Howard ran it in for a 24 yard touchdown in the second quarter. Howard finished with three rushing touchdowns, but it just wasn't enough as Madison fell to Mount Vernon, 34-21.
