Crestline Man Killed In Tractor Rollover Accident

A Crestline man was killed Monday evening when the tractor he was driving rolled over and fell into a creek in Crawford County. The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on private property at 7564 Ohio 96.

The sheriff's office says Loren E. Hipsher, 64, was driving his 1946 Ford 8N Tractor and front end loader near a culvert. The tractor fell into a creek. Hipsher was pronounced dead at the scene by the Crawford County Coroner.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office, Tiro Auburn Volunteer Fire Department and Lifestar Ambulance Service all responded to the scene of the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
