Postal Service Releases Ray Charles Forever Stamp

  Original Published: 9/25/2013 The United States Postal Service has unveiled a new forever stamp, honoring musical great Ray Charles. The agency hosted a big ceremony in Atlanta. It also unveiled an unreleased Charles recording featured on a new C-D available at post offices around the nation. The U.S. Postal Service released the stamp on what would have been the artist's 83rd birthday. Charles was known for such hits as "Georgia On My Mind," and an iconic rendition of "America the Beautiful."
