Two People Injured In Two-Vehicle Collision

  Original Published: 9/29/2013 Two people received minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision around 11:45 a.m. Saturday on Marion Melmore Road at River Road in Crawford County. The sheriff's office says a sport utility vehicle driven by Andrew Kazee, 41, of Sycamore, was eastbound on River Road and stopped at the stop sign. Kazee pulled into traffic and was struck by a motorcycle driven by Matthew Henry, 39, of Marion, and traveling east on Marion Melmore Road. Henry and a passenger in Kazee's SUV, James Ackerman, 27, of Bucyrus, were taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Kazee was cited for failure to yield.
