Big House Renovations Unveiled At Malabar Farm State Park

  Original Published: 9/29/2013 After several months of renovations and restoration efforts, Louis Bromfield's historic Big House at Malabar Farm State Park, was unveiled to the public over the weekend. Ohio Department of Natural Resources Director Jim Zehringer says the half-million dollar renovation project would enhance the Big House, which has thirty-two rooms. The celebration of the renovation of the Big House coincided with Malabar Farm's annual Heritage Days Festival. The Bailey Pond at Malabar Farm also was stocked and its surroundings spruced up and will be made a youth fishing pond, so as to attract more families for an enjoyable experience.
