New Research Suggests Global War On Drugs Is Failing

  Original Published: 10/2/2013 New research suggests the global war on drugs is failing. A study published by the British Medical Journal finds illegal drugs have become significantly cheaper, while their potency has increased. In addition, the price of illegal drugs internationally has fallen, despite a general increase in police seizures. Researchers say the war on drugs has heightened crime, corruption and violence but done little to slow the sale of illegal drugs.
