The Mansfield/Ontario/Richland County Health Department says it's WIC services have not been affected by the government shutdown.

Tina Picman, WIC director for Richland and Ashland County, said it's business as usual at the office, after receiving confirmation from the state WIC office in Columbus.

One change has been made in the program that is not related to the government shutdown. As of October 1, WIC coupons will only be redeemed for store brand milk, eggs and cheese. WIC participants can contact the WIC office for further information, 419-774-4570.
