A section of heavily-traveled road is about to close for two weeks due to a culvert replacement. Flashing signs have been in place warning motorists up the up-coming closing of part of U-S Route 42, about 1/10th of a mile north of Township Road 1323, which is north of State Route 603. Traffic will be detoured to U.S 30 and State Route 511 while the project is underway. The culvert replacement is a $150,000 project. The contractor is Page Excavating of Lucas.
