Shelby Farmer's Market Closes Out The Season With Festival

  Original Published: 10/6/2013 The Shelby Farmer's Market celebrated the end of its seasonal run over the weekend with a Fall Festival in Central Park. Farmer's Market Manager David Ernst there was something for everyone at the family-friendly market. Ernst says this year's farmer's market was phenomenal with the popular farm-to-plate demonstrations and the interest in local food the market brings to people. Ernst says next season, they want to do more farm-to-plate demonstrations as well as providing a more festival-type atmosphere as the Shelby Farmer's Market continues to grow.
