Several Area Teams Ranked In Top 8

  Original Published: 10/7/2013Several area football teams are ranked in the top eight of their respective computer regions heading into week seven. In Division II, Region 5. Mansfield Senior at 6-0, is ranked second. The 6-0 start by the Tygers is their best since 1933. In Division III, Region 9, West Holmes at 5-1, who the Tygers play on Friday at home in the WMFD TV Game of the Week is 7th. In Region 8 of Division III, Norwalk at 5-1 is 5th. In Division 4, Region 12, Galion at 6-0 is 5th. In Division V, Region 16, Loudonville at 6-0 is 4th, while 4-2 Orrville is 7th. In Division VI, Region 20, Colonel Crawford at 5-1 is 5th. And in Division VII, Region 23 Mapleton at 5-1 is 3rd, Norwalk St.Paul at 5-1 is 4th and 5-1 Plymouth is 8th. The top eight at the end of the regular season advance to the post season in week 11.
