Original Published: 10/9/2013 New York police have arrested one of their own in connection with the attack on an SUV driver. Much of that confrontation was caught on camera. Andrew Spencer reports there's apparently more video than what went viral. Among the group of bikers connected to this video were at least two members of law enforcement, undercover and off-duty. One of them, 32-year-old NYPD Detective Wojciech Braszcok, now faces felony criminal mischief and riot charges. This viral video shows an SUV stopping when surrounded then speeding off, plowing through three motorcyclists. The video later shows a biker bashing through the driver's window with his helmet. The driver was then pulled from the SUV and beaten, stomped on as he lay on the road. Police say other video, not yet made public, shows the detective among those pounding on the SUV. A law enforcement official told CNN, the undercover detective didn't inform his supervisors about the attack until three days later, telling internal affairs investigators that he was afraid his cover would be blown. Police say this viral video also does not show the involvement of another man, 32-year-old Clint Caldwell, whose arrest was also announced on Tuesday. But it does provide evidence in other arrests, like that of Christoper Criz, the motorcyclist who slowed in front of the SUV. He has been charged with reckless driving and other misdemeanors. Robert Sims faces charges of attempted assault and gang assault. Police believe this is him, operating the driver's door. And, police believe this is Reginald Chance, the biker who broke through the driver's window. Chance faces charges, including gang assault as does a sixth man connected to this incident, Craig Wright.
