The Clear Fork Colts won their second straight last Friday downing the Wooster Generals in come from behind fashion 29-26, to improve to 4-2 on the season. Clear Fork coach Dave Carroll said his team overcame the loss of three fumbles, Silas Finley and the Generals to get the win adding that the team showed they could play good, tough Colt football in the fourth quarter. This week Clear Fork will try to make it three straight as they play host to the Madison Rams who stopped a four game slide last Friday against Lexington winning 47-34. One of the keys in stopping Madison's offense is, like last season, stop the run as the Rams churned out 313 yards on the ground with the one-two punch of Kalvin Gordon, 198 yards rushing and Juwan Howard, 112 yards rushing. Carroll says Madison and coach Sean Conway like to pound away inside and out, but you still have to be aware of their ability to throw the ball out of their veer option offense. The Colts will be looking to stop a two game losing streak to Madison in Bellville Friday night.
