The game at Wynford High School on Friday night was not about offense, which is the complete opposite of what one would expect when both Dareian Watkins and Corey Brown are playing. Both the Royal and Tiger offenses moved the ball scantly against stout defensive fronts, which forced both teams into overtime tied 7-7. Both teams scored in overtime, but it was Wynford who made their PAT, stunning the Tigers 14-13. For the Royals, backup QB Keaton Teynor finished the night with 79 yards rushing and a TD. Brown followed him with 56 yards and a TD. Galion's Dareian Watkins finished with 95 yards and a TD through the air and 74 yards and a TD on the ground. Next week the Wynford Royals will play the Eagles at Col. Crawford, and Galion will look to bounce back as they travel to Riverdale.
