A big bash for Ashland County couples who've been married at least fifty years was held during the noon hour Wednesday at Mozelle Hall at the fairgrounds. 188 couples, with a combined 10,700 years of marriage attended the luncheon. The first-of-its-kind party was hosted by the Ashland County Community Foundation and United Way of Ashland County. Sponsors covered the expenses.
