Original Published: 10/18/2013Two breaking-and-entering suspects were caught in the act early Friday morning in Galion. Police Officer Stephen Knapp was on patrol, and drove behind Heritage Baptist Church at 1381 State Route 61, where he found a suspicious vehicle with its trunk open. He called for back-up, then saw a light come on inside the church, and a person inside with a bandana over his face. Two other officers arrived and set-up a perimeter around the church. One suspect came out and was apprehended. The second suspect announced he was coming out and was taken into custody. Officers found several items stacked-up inside the church, ready to be removed. 30-year-old Michael Jackson of Mansfield and 29-year-old James Cushing of Shelby are in the Crawford County Jail while police ask prosecutors to file Breaking and Entering charges.
